Alchemy Pottery Classes - Important Information
Learn how to throw on the potter’s wheel! Beginners will learn to make basic forms like cylinders, bowls, and mugs on the wheel. Using colored slips and glaze, inlay, texture, and carving you will learn various ways to finish your creations. Students with throwing experience will get one-on-one instruction and help in developing their own personal projects.
Included in tuition: Hands on instruction from Amy Halko or Duncan MacKinnon, clay, use of studio materials and glazes, personal shelf space, bisque and glaze firings, all of the pots you make, invite to our end of semester pick up party.
All levels are welcome in these classes including teens 13 years and up.
Class size is limited to seven students.

All sales are final.
Once registered, if you request to transfer to a different class there will be a $100.00 transfer fee added to your tuition.
If you miss a class we may not be able to offer an opportunity to make up the hours.
Cancellations within one week of class commencement and/or no-shows will not receive any credit, transfer, or refund.
Students should feel comfortable lifting a 25lb bag of clay, working with their hands, and sitting at the potters wheel for extended periods of time.

Open Studio
During our Open Studio hours, experienced potters have full access to work on personal projects. Our incredible 10,360 square foot studio in The Maker building is home to a welcoming community of artists, yoga practitioners, and interesting people. Come explore your creativity with us!
